NBA superstar LeBron James is a living legend. For years he has dazzled fans—first for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and then for the Miami Heat. During his rookie season, he set a record as the youngest player to score more than 40 points in a game. In 2012 and 2013, he helped the Heat win two NBA championships. Despite moving to Miami, LeBron has never forgotten his hometown of Akron, Ohio. He has donated money to renovate his old high school’s basketball arena and to provide the school’s sports teams with uniforms. He also started the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), which encourages kids in Akron to stay in school. In LeBron James, readers will follow this NBA superstar’s basketball career and discover how he has made a difference in people’s lives both on and off the court. Large, full-color action photos and engaging text will keep readers turning the pages for more.
