Approachable text paired closely with clear images explains just how the tech we use every day works. A fun back matter feature shows how much the world of technology has changed over time.
This series provides clear, simple explanations of how everyday technology works. Large-scale full-color photographs or diagrams accompany a few sentences in every spread. Each book focuses on a particular kind of technology, such as tablets or AI. Readers see underwater internet cables, routers, and cell phone towers and learn how information passes through them as they use various devices. A final page gives a brief overview of how things have changed over time. For example, it mentions that early cell phones were bulky and only able to make calls, but today’s devices are small and have multiple functions.
