ReviewedWe’re from a big place with many people. We live in a country! Learn about the people and things that make a country special, and explore how we can all take steps to make our country the best it can be! Bright, colorful photos paired with simple text help young readers learn about the different communities where they live.
Perfect for young students learning about their communities, “Where We Live” teaches children about the physical size, basic governance, and community interactions within a city, state, country and planet. Large photos featuring people of varying skin tones and brightly colored backgrounds accompany the bold text on each spread. The concepts are kept very simple for younger students. A table of contents, glossary, index, read more, and online learning are all included. VERDICT An excellent addition for libraries seeking to enhance their collections about communities.
