In Bri Goes to the Beach, beginning readers learn about the thoughts, emotions, and body sensations associated with new situations and how we can mindfully address them. Follow along as Bri visits the beach, at first experiences disappointment, and learns how to address it and enjoy herself. Vibrant illustrations and carefully leveled text engage young readers in a supportive educational fiction reading experience about a new situation.
A Let’s Review! quiz asks readers to reflect on the story, while a picture glossary reinforces new vocabulary. Bri Goes to the Beach also features reading tips for teachers and parents and a table of contents.
Grasshopper Books offers simple, fun fiction for emerging readers. Bri Goes to the Beach is part of Jump!’s First Experiences series.
