In Bedtime, emergent readers see and read about a bedtime routine, including cleaning up, washing up, brushing hair and teeth, and preparing for sleep. Carefully crafted text uses high-frequency words, repetitive sentence patterns, and strong visual references to support emergent readers and ensure reading success.
Bedtime includes tools for teachers and caregivers as well as introductory nonfiction features such as labels, a table of contents, words to know, and an index. A Let’s Review! feature poses an image and question for further comprehension.
Bedtime is part of Jump!’s First Routines series.
