In Passenger Trains, beginning readers will learn what passenger trains are, where they take us, the sights we can see from them, and the different cars, such as dining and sleeping cars. Vibrant, full-color photos and carefully leveled text will engage young readers as they learn about passenger trains and their use.
A labeled country map points out Amtrak’s major city stops in the United States, while a picture glossary reinforces new vocabulary. Children can learn more about passenger trains online using our safe search engine that provides relevant, age-appropriate websites. Passenger Trains also features reading tips for teachers and parents, a table of contents, and an index.
Passenger Trains is part of Jump!’s All Aboard series.
