ReviewedBuilding a robot requires wires, metal, and knowledge of computers. But building an origami robot just takes a sheet or two of paper! With this hands-on origami guide, readers can construct favorite fictional robots, from Wall-E and Eva to BB-8 and the Iron Giant. Engaging text offers facts about each robot, while tips and tricks sidebars help with paper folding techniques.
'A 6 title set with origami projects for older children, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Along with the written instructions, the pictures are helpful for completing the folds correctly. Kids love creating with paper! The 3rd and 4th graders at my school library are constantly requesting these titles! I can’t keep them on the shelf because someone is always checking it out as soon as it gets returned. Each title includes 8 different paper crafts to create revolving around a common topic such as robots, bugs, and mythical creatures.', Nicole Welle, K-12 Teacher Librarian, Educator Review
